Position Details

Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ

Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong foundation in systems administration and a passion for security and optimization? We’re looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team and help us maintain, secure, and enhance our technology infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone who is able to immediately plunge in and get off to a fast start. They should be proactive, solutions driven and an out of the box thinker that thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 suite: Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.
  • Manage PC patching and IT asset inventory
  • Maintain and enhance anti-virus, malware, email, and web security tools
  • Perform software and firmware updates for PCs and other devices
  • Implement and monitor security best practices, including MFA, VPN, firewalls, and network monitoring
  • Support and improve security awareness training software and processes
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting for PCs, servers, printers, applications, and other IT equipment
  • Optimize and automate IT processes where possible
  • Manage VOIP phone system
  • Support backup and disaster recovery (DR) systems for Microsoft 365, VMware and AWS backups
  • Document processes, train end users, and provide ongoing support for projects and systems you oversee
  • Collaborate closely with teammates and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience (preferably 3-5) in systems administration, with exposure to networking and security
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration — this is a big plus
  • Familiarity with security concepts, tools, and best practices (MFA, VPN, firewalls, monitoring, phishing prevention)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a variety of hardware and software
  • Experience with backup and DR systems for cloud and virtual environments
  • Familiarity with VOIP systems, AWS backups, and security awareness training tools is a plus
  • Strong documentation, communication, and user support skills
  • A proactive problem solver who takes initiative and works well as part of a team

Pay Information: $65,000-75,000 per year
