Daniel Lenza- Logistics Manager | Sandy Milnes- Traffic Assistant
The Traffic “Logistics” Department at Roosevelt Paper plays an important role. We provide quality delivery service and value to our customers. Traffic wears many hats and has many responsibilities. One main responsibility is carrier selection for all of Roosevelt Paper shipments from our three divisions. Our department is based at Roosevelt headquarters located in Mt Laurel, NJ. Although the department is lean, we have a support team with many key personnel. We are located across three divisions and coordinate our efforts to help make programs a success.

Overcoming Transport Challenges
In addition to these responsibilities, we work very hard to maintain excellent relationships with our carrier partners. Our team provides a quality experience for carrier drivers making us a “Shipper of Choice”. We are currently in the midst of Global Supply Chain challenges resulting in service interruptions. The transportation industry has been disrupted for the past year and a half starting before the pandemic. As a result, there are major supply chain disruptions across all modes of transportation. Truckload and less-than truck load (LTL) carriers continue to experience major driver shortage. Additionally, staffing in warehouses and shipping terminals has been a challenge. The railroads and the Intermodal markets have been inundated with volume and have seen substantial delays.
In conclusion, our department continues to work hard to bring service and value to our customers even in this difficult time.
